As some of you might know I have recently moved to Bournemouth and I am now the New Media Producer at Bournemouth University. The Media School have recently been designated as the only Centre for Excellence in Media Practice (CEMP) in the UK. The award recognises the School's commitment to innovation and excellence in learning and teaching. With over 25 years' experience, Bournemouth Media School offers high quality industry-recognised degree programmes in media production, journalism, communication, marketing and computer animation. My main role will be developing the Media School's new external website, which is going to look great! Still working on the old Media site too! And over the next year I will be looking to improve the existing Media2 website for existing students. So I had better stop writing this and get cracking.

I seem to be getting a lot of feedback at the moment about the fun and quirky games I keep posting on this site. So I thought I would direct you all to the Headquarters of free and cool games: Addicting Games. Obviously you will need Flash Player to use this site so if you don't already have it then get downloading now. Only takes a jiffy and it is so simple to do.

At last, after many strongly worded emails to Blogger, I have eventually found a solution to the layout problem. If you are experiencing the same problems then visit the Blogger Buzz page as there is a quick and easy way to sort your code. The problem was apparently due to Blogger introducing it's new advanced Picture/Images posting facility. To solve CSS troubleshooting: 1. Sign in to your Blogger Dashboard 2. Click the "Change Settings" icon next to your blog 3. Click "Formatting" under the Settings tab 4. Choose "No" on "Enable float alignment" and hey presto-all fixed.

As you can probably notice there is something wrong with Blogger at the moment. For some reason it is pushing this post half way down the page. Grrrr! At least I can relax in the knowledge that this is nothing to do with my shoddy coding. Just thought I would let you know so you don't think I am a terrible web designer.

I have recently had the good fortune to be inspired by two very talented photographers. Stef Karpa, the new Training Manager at Net Resources, is one of those people who loves to be snap happy. His atmospheric and almost haunting pictures are ones that you will never forget. He is highly skilled at taking close up pictures and turning them into modern art.
